Hi, I’m Hannah

Welcome here! I’m Hannah, a Somerset-based (mostly) wedding and lifestyle photographer, and I’d love to tell you a bit about what I do and why I do it. Whether you found yourself here because you’re planning your wedding, looking for a family photoshoot, are curious about having your birth photographed - or anything else - I’m so glad you’ve found me.

Photography has always been more than a career for me, it’s a way of telling stories. Your stories. I’ve been fortunate to spend my days capturing people at their most real, whether that’s the quiet intimacy of a wedding morning, the chaos of a family shoot, or the energy of a celebration in full swing. This year, I’m particularly excited about diving deeper into some of my favourite types of work: birth stories, small local businesses and elopements.

My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. I believe the best photos happen when you’re not overly aware of the camera. I’ll guide you when needed, but mostly, I’m there to notice the moments you might miss: a look, a laugh, a hand held tight.

I don’t think you need to worry about looking perfect or posing a certain way. Life isn’t perfect, and that’s exactly why it’s beautiful. Some of my favorite photos have come from unexpected moments—a gust of wind, a child’s giggle, or a slightly-too-tight hug.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me exploring the countryside with my two little ones, grabbing coffee at my favorite local spots, or dreaming up my next trip. Travel is a big part of my work, and I’ve had the joy of photographing love stories all over the UK, my second home Seychelles, and further afield.

This blog is where I’ll share more about my work, my process, and maybe a bit about life behind the lens. I hope to be a little bit more present here this year!
